Why do you keep putting it off? Are you really going to start on Monday? And how many times have you said that to yourself already?
If that sounds familiar, I might have just the thing for you.
In September, I launched my Keep Showing Up programme with 11 people who wanted a bit of accountability to help them follow through on things they’d been meaning to do. It was a real mixed bag of goals. Some wanted to work on their business, others wanted to make more time for prayer, and some had fitness or everyday goals they’d been struggling to stick with.
What made the difference for me
In September last year, I started working with an online fitness coach. Over the 10 months we worked together, I lost around 16kg and 6 inches from my waist, but one of the biggest things I took away from it was realising how much accountability helped me stay on track.

Honestly, I didn’t want to tell my coach I hadn’t done what I’d said I was going to do that week! Knowing he was going to ask made me more likely to get it done. And it mattered to me that he actually cared how I was getting on, including on the weeks when things didn’t go to plan.
Having accountability encouraged me to go again the following Monday no matter what!

It made me realise that sometimes we just need someone to walk alongside us for a season. Someone who knows what we’re working towards and will remember to ask how it’s going.
In the Bible, it tells us in Hebrews 10:24-25, we’re reminded to encourage one another. God created us for community, and I think there’s something really practical about that. Sometimes encouragement is as simple as someone saying, “How did you get on with that thing you wanted to do this week?”
How Keep Showing Up works
You choose what you want to work on. Each week, you’ll get a video from me with some encouragement, and you’ll have a check-in where you can tell me how you got on. I’ll read it and respond to you personally. There’s also an optional private Facebook group if you’d like some encouragement from others who are working on their own goals.
You can watch the videos and do your check-ins in your own time, so it’s flexible enough to fit around work, family and whatever else you’ve got going on. My next group starts on Monday 9th November and runs for six weeks. The six weeks take us right up to the week before Christmas, so if there’s something you’d love to tick off your list or make a bit of progress on before then, now’s a good time to get started.
Begin a new journey with someone who actually cares!

If there’s something you’ve been saying you’ll get round to and you’d like a bit of support to actually do it, book your place on Keep Showing Up. I’d love to hear what you want to work on.
